Dylan’s woodworking journey began at age 5. He was always walking around the shop picking up scrap wood blocks and making things with them. He would use a hammer and nails to turn scrap wood into various creations. He made robots, airplanes and his very own planter boxes. As time went on, Dylan’s interest in woodworking grew. He started to learn how to use more tools and build more complicated projects. In 2016, when Dylan was 8 years old, he opened his very first birdhouse stand. Dylan’s Birdhouse Stand was a huge hit in the neighborhood. Customers would travel from miles away to meet Dylan and buy his famous birdhouses. During this time, Dylan learned some valuable skills in customer service, team work, and of course, woodworking. Now as Dylan gets older, he is continuing to learn different techniques and the use of bigger and more powerful tools.
Dylan’s Journey
As our woodshop business is growing, Dylan’s Birdhouse Stand is also growing. We plan to set up booths at our local festivals throughout the year. In these booths, we will feature Dylan’s famous birdhouses and other creations from the woodshop. Follow us on social media to receive updates on where you can come meet us!
